Skill   Prayer Bonus

I've had to remove the Prayer bonus that gives +% to your stats for now, as it was causing a bug within the game. You will probably notice that some of your skills will re-level. This isn't actually the case, it's more of a display bug (so don't freak out if you're a "lower level" in some combat skills than you were yesterday).

I will update again here when fixed / restored.

I've upgraded the server resources (CPU and RAM), basically doubling them. The amount of memory dedicated to caching has been increased by about 5 times it's default value, which will help out a lot. I have quite a few other websites all sharing the same server, and it was starting to struggle at times. Things should / might be a bit faster now, enjoy.
Combat   A Familiar Object

An ancient weapon has been added into the game. [Battered Hilt] and [Battered Blade] have been added to all current (and future) enemies in the Combat Grounds. You can combine both parts, along with 1.3m [Gold], at level 100 Smithing to create the [Glory Sword]! The Glory Sword is the best one-handed weapon in the game, and will continue to be in the future. As a way to help drain gold from the economy, the sword will be upgrade-able for a fee once a new tier of items is released.

The drop rate for the hilt and blade is really low in order to prevent the game from being flooded with them. We'll continue to monitor the drop rate in the future to see if adjustments are needed. At the moment, we're aiming for 1 of each item per month on average.

The way that the odds of a part dropping depends on how long it has been since the last one was dropped. Every day that goes by without a part dropping, the odds are slightly increased; until it eventually gets to the point where the odds of getting one are really good. At that point, someone will receive a hilt or blade, and the chances of a drop happening again are reset to incredibly low.

All monsters over level 60 now have a small chance to drop [Onyx Shield]. Future updates will make this shield upgradable.

The Crypt Guard and the Green Dragon have joined the combat grounds! The Green Dragon drops [Green Dragonhide] which will be used in future skill tiers.

General   XP Requirements

Somehow a change to reverted in the XP formula that I did a few months ago. Every 100 levels should get quite a bit harder (experience wise), to create a sort of "soft cap". Level 200+ wasn't getting that multiplier, making it easier to train than it should have been. Only a couple of people had stats above level 200, so it doesn't affect many of you. I'll be letting them keep their stats, it'll be much harder for them now with this update.

I've implemented a fix that'll make it so character images aren't being cached the way they were. I couldn't figure out why it was caching them, it's a very strange issue. But, your images should now properly update when you put on new equipment.

You may now cook [Cooked Eel], [Cooked Bass], and [Cooked Rainbow Fish]. You can use them in combat as well.

I've added a little more information to your profiles. You can now see your total Cooldown, Luck, Block, Armor and Prayer Bonus.
New Feature   Prayer

Not exactly a new skill (you've been able to train it), but Prayer is now functional. It increases your other combat related stats by 5% of your total Prayer level.

You also gain +1 Luck for every 25 Prayer levels you have, helping you get more random events while skilling and rare drops in combat.
